There are some things I know I can never forget.
Our first kiss.
The 4:56-minute video you sent me on my first birthday when we were together.
The way you held my hand.
Even now, sometimes, I still feel like you are holding my hand tight.
And if I could have one tiny wish about the last time we met… I wish we had hugged harder. :)
Thank you for trusting me with your body, your vulnerability, and your heart — and for trusting that I would never misuse that trust. That trust means more to me than I can properly explain.
You're my baby. You're my everything. ❤️
But there's something else I want you to know.
I can never forget you.
Not because of the difficult things. Not because of the mistakes. Not because our story was always easy.
I'll remember you because you were you.
The girl who made me laugh. The girl whose hand I held. The girl whose voice could make an ordinary day feel different. The girl with whom I shared moments that became some of the most precious memories of my life.
And if someday you look back at our story, I don't want you to remember me as a past.
I don't want to be your heartbreak.
I don't want to be a lesson you had to learn.
I don't want our story to become something you simply survived.
I want you to remember me as someone who loved you.
Someone who saw something in you that was worth holding onto.
Someone who walked beside you through a part of your life.
And somewhere deep inside my heart, I hope that when you think of me, you don't think of a chapter that ended.
You think of the person who felt like home.
Your soulmate. ❤️
